Recognitions & Key Achievements (2025–2026)
To celebrate the successful implementation of our projects, we highlight the accomplishments of our clients, who have received recognition through various awards and accolades. Below is a summary of recent achievements:
1) Agricultural and Agrarian Insurance Board (AAIB), Sri Lanka
The AAIB is one of South Asia’s largest public agricultural insurers, known for its extensive farmer compensation programs and climate-risk insurance initiatives. Key recent milestones include:
- Large-scale crop compensation programs: In 2025, AAIB compensated farmers affected by droughts and floods. In 2026, they extended support to farmers impacted by Cyclone Ditwah, covering damaged paddy cultivation, a major intervention in climate disaster risk financing.
- Expansion of livestock insurance: The board introduced cattle and goat insurance to safeguard farmers’ income, enhancing resilience against climate and production-related risks.
- “Insurance Month” initiative: In February 2026, AAIB launched a nationwide campaign to promote agricultural insurance for crops, covering risks such as drought, floods, pests, wildlife damage, diseases, and fire. The initiative aims to increase the adoption of agricultural and climate insurance across Sri Lanka.

2) SANASA Insurance, Sri Lanka
- National Business Excellence Award 2025 – “Excellence in Business & Financial Results”
- Awarded by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka.
- Although this award recognizes financial performance and inclusive services, its significance lies in highlighting SANASA’s innovative approach to insurance and its commitment to extending coverage to low-income and rural communities.
